The Population Party's primary purpose is to bring to the fore the issue - which many believe to be the elephant in the room - of rapid population growth and it's consequences in New Zealand.
The Population Party seeks to promote an alternative vision for New Zealand where bigger is not always better and small can be very good.
The Population Party is currently an unregistered political party but aims to be registered as soon as possible.
The Population Party is being formed by a group of concerned kiwis who do not particularly want to be involved politics but see a need to promote an alternative vision for New Zealand and engage in positive and constructive discourse on the issue of New Zealand's population growth and size.
